Mission and strategies

The Museum of Lucito (CB) protects, increases and enhances its collection and its history in order to promote and spread the discovery, the understanding, the interpretation, and the preservation of the ancient agricultural utensils in all its aspects.

The Agricultural Museum of Lucito, unique in Molise, is committed to achieve exposures of collections, events, documentation, consultation, disclosure, organize educational events and training network with other regional museums, as well as the national and the international ones.

Il restoration

The property where the museum has been established, is a traditional rural home dating back to the end of the XVIII century- beginning of the XIX century.

It has been restored keeping the original rural features such as the internal well used for animals, the stone fireplace, the iron rings in the stone walls near the main entrance door used to tie up animals (oxen, donkeys,horses).
